Defect dynamics at the solid liquid interface. This movie shows the dynamics of an interstitial migration at the solid liquid interface seen from the side. Colours and shape indicate the atom structure factor as in Fig 3. The two atoms that start as an interstitialcy and migrate out of the liquid as the front moves are coloured red regardless of their structure. The movie describes motion during 3 pico-seconds in steps of 0.05 pico-seconds. Every pico-second in the simulation is 10 seconds in real movie time. The interstitial migrates 1.8 picoseconds after the movie begins
