About Me

I'm originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, where most of my family still lives. I also lived for many years in NYC and am a proud Bronx High School of Science graduate.

I went to Stony Brook University for my undergrad, where I worked with Prof. Barbara Jacak on making predictions for proton-proton collisions at RHIC. I also worked with Prof. Mike Simon in the astronomy department, and observed as part of the SMARTS project at CTIO in Chile (shown in the picture).

I did my PhD work at NYU's Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics with Prof. David Hogg and Prof. Beth Willman (who is now at Haverford). My dissertation work was on near-field cosmology (here.)

After my PhD, I returned to Israel as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hebrew University. I now live in Columbus, Ohio, which is cold, but lovely.
